Full disclosure: the S/Z ship is actually one of the biggest in OP fandom. Sometimes I‘m a little on that train as well. 😄 I love these two. I once got this big special magazine that‘s dedicated to them all the way from Japan lol

And during Solstice - summer and winter, at a specific time, the sun goes down on one end and the moon rises on the other side of the maze between the trees. It‘s an incredible atmosphere. Perhaps it‘s a unique inspiration to you
And now comes the best part. In said „Fairy Forest“ there is a maze. It is the physical symbol of the energy streams below the surface. Walking it is healing. People come here from afar as well.
It also has a sundial (if you zoom in near the base you see it) and at very specific times of the year, the sun shines through a window directly onto the alter - highlighting different parts of it on different days. The „Fairy Forest“ is not far from it. I have taken stunning pics in the are.
So the thing is this whole area is a highly spiritually charged one and people have always known this. For instance, 2 churches of neighbouring villages were built so that they are in an exact line - and one of them has Germany’s tallest village-church tower.
