A quiet, cozy, nook where you can sit in front of the glow of the CRT and let your troubles melt away 🇨🇦
I want to come to on a fellow space burnouts couch in their back room after a killer headrush from a cosmic bong rip. I stumble to my feet, look in their cracked mirror and see a haggard version of Lloyd from Lloyd in Space looking back at me
Midst pinewood grove there stands the home of that which can’t be named. Little teaser for a poem inspired by the writings @owllog.bsky.social Hope to have the whole thing done up real pretty sometime in the coming days 🧛🏻♂️
I usually won't stand for the disrespect on a childhood icon, but this is the one instance it's apt (Photo of the young Doo hours before his time of death)
Probably been a decade+ since I’ve picked up a new release at a brick and mortar store but tbh it won’t be the last. The slipcase not being mangled by the uncaring hands of Amazon or couriers and the price basically being the same as Amazon makes it a no brainer. Also fuck Amazon.
And I'm super tempted to pick up the Waxwork release of the vinyl, just so damn good
Omg same seller has Carmen Campagne VHS, we're going back to the roots tonight
Might send a lowball on this just for the love of the game. Pavarotti x Sting, simple as
The Last Wish 3/5 Last read this about 10 years ago when I was getting back into reading for fun. Upon reread I can say that what I like and dislike about it were both magnified. And would it kill them to include a damn map?
Still enjoying Halls of Torment: Prelude and for free the sheer amount of shit you get to do is unreal. Once I get my fill I'll definitely be picking up the full release to see how much the mechanics and stages are expanded.
Nearly a year in progress but I finally put the finishing touches on my living room. Super pleased with the results. Shoutout Michael’s big beard framing guy, you the real MVP ⚔️
The slam and perfectly spherical butter blob speaks to me like the green goblin mask
EMDR is witchcraft, been feeling overwhelmed with life in general lately. Finally set aside the time to do my silly lil coping mechanisms and by god even half a decade later that shit still works. Madness. (Bird unrelated but saw out my office window)
Legit just want a batsuit so I go throw on smeary eye black and look at myself in the mirror with angsty music on full blast
There was no Golden Age. This was written in the 1950s, the supposed boom of post war prosperity and even THEN they were longing for a simpler slower time of centuries past! ITS LIKE POETRY IT RHYMES THEY WERE ALL RIGHT!! STUDY HISTORY READ TEXTS OF THE ERA YOU IDOLIZE! YOU WORSHIP A FALSE GOD
Might just quit this job what an absolute fucking palaeolithic clown show. Mired in AI psychosis, remote incompetence, and hereditary helplessness conceived the moment they’re hired.
Picked up Halls of Torment: Prelude on the free and holy fuck this is scratching that goopy goblin gamer brain itch so good
It’s interesting reading non-fiction from 70 years ago. Reminds you that the downtrodden and broken have always existed and there was never this Golden Age. The sad and forgotten of then are the same that are trying to be ignored now. The powers that be knew it then and still know.
June was a genuinely poor food decision month. To cope I told myself I was just taking it easy after 150 days of a super clean diet. Decided to try and counter the poor diet with going extra hard on the bike and was able to still chip away 2lbs on the month! I’ll take it! Officially 30+ lbs down ⚔️

I’ve only read the first 10 or so but “Say Cheese and Die” had a really spooky and fun ending!
