Jersey tiger moth was trying to fly through our (unopenable!) kitchen window earlier. Managed to direct him to freedom through the door. We get a lot of these around the SE London / Kent area but usually see them with only the stripy forewings on show when they are resting on leaves and bus stops.

Had to walk up a little road I never have reason to go up anymore just because the magnificence of this pink was beckoning me. It’s outside the hall I used to take my kids to preschool gym and singsong and numerous wild primary school parties. Am I becoming a hydrangea fan or do I just love #pink
Pinch Punch First day of the Christmas season today according to Caffè Nero.
Last night I missed the moon and tonight I couldn’t focus on it except for a split second from a bedroom window. Then as I left the room some ancient stars on the ceiling caught my eye with planet lampshade just visible.
