BlueSky today is really two things. There’s the BlueSky app, which is what a lot of people are familiar with. It’s a social network. We think it’s a better social network. It’s more human focused, doesn’t have ads. It doesn’t have algorithms. But more importantly, underneath BlueSky is an open protocol called AT Protocol. And BlueSky is only one of now over a thousand apps built on that protocol.

Im surprised they went for the copyright and safety argumentation, when an ethical justification was right there, they already did it with banning crypto! its very clear that codeberg users wouldnt want ai code even if new regulation dissolved the copyright issue, so why give it as reason?

Content that harms the reputation of Codeberg, such as cryptocurrency related projects.

You must not share projects that mostly consist of code written by "generative AI"-tools (including services such as Claude, OpenAI Codex). Such projects having an unclear copyright status (see requirements § 2 (1) 1 and § 2 (1) 3) and furthermore have little safeguards to ensure that they do not include harmful code (c.f. § 2 (1) 5).

2.1. Assessing and mitigating risks posed by frontier AI
The AI Act sets out requirements for the cybersecurity of AI systems14 and requires providers
of the most advanced general-purpose AI models to assess and mitigate systemic risks,
including from misuse of AI in the cyber domain.15
As of 2 August 2026, the Commission will exercise the supervisory and enforcement powers
provided by the AI Act to ensure effective oversight of AI systems as well as of general-purpose
AI models, including models that present systemic risks related to cybersecurity.16 This
oversight includes assessing the providers’ identification of risks associated with model
capabilities and their implemented measures to mitigate those risks. These requirements
continue to be proportionate to the capabilities of the technology at hand.
The supervisory and enforcement powers will be supported by the Scientific Panel advising
the Commission’s AI Office, secure reporting channels, and the Code of Practice for
general-purpose AI.

De Belgische voetbalbond tekende beroep aan tegen de beslissing van de FIFA om de Amerikaanse spits Folarin Balogun te laten spelen tegen de Rode Duivels. Dat beroep is nu verworpen door de FIFA.

Het beroep is onontvankelijk verklaard, zo staat te lezen in een mededeling van de FIFA. “Daaruit volgt dat de beslissing volledig bevestigd wordt”, staat er te lezen. De verdere details zijn niet bekendgemaakt.

First, we have a nice model coming this summer – we hope it will delight and surprise in a few capabilities. This will be the start of a new family of models, fat indeed, but sparse. We're opening up an early access program in July for key partners in research, government and the industry.

A similar debate concerned the shape of the table to be used at the conference. The North favored a circular table, in which all parties, including NLF representatives, would appear to be "equal"' in importance. The South Vietnamese argued that only a rectangular table was acceptable, for only a rectangle could show two distinct sides to the conflict. Titles like Educated, The Goldfinch, and Where the Crawdads Sing held their spots for over two years.
