Don't be condescending. I'm not saying some newspaper media didn't endorse Starmer & Labour just that they were highly critical before he was voted in. A Labour win was framed as a vote against the Tories & voters had lent their vote to defeat Sunak. It delegitimised his premiership from day 1.

Apart from introducing cities, a vast road network, sanitation systems, leaving behind lasting infrastructure & organized towns such as London, Bath & Lincoln. They brought centralized government, currency & early forms of police & fire services. Boat people!
