EDMONTON — With the recent passing of Bill 29 in the spring session permitting private-pay diagnostic services without referral, TELUS Health hasn’t wasted any time capitalizing on their chance to charge Albertans directly out-of-pocket for diagnostic testing. A promotional email sent on June 15 advertises “Total Body MRIs Starting at $2995,” available at their TELUS Health SKY Clinic in Calgary. This is just one of many products on offer at TELUS Health Care Centres in Alberta.

Subject: Notice of Investigation Outcome
I write to inform you of the outcome of your complaint that the Honourable
Minister Dale Nally used the list of electors inappropriately when he provided
his member’s response on November 17, 2025, to the recall petition that had
been approved.
I have concluded my investigation. I have reviewed all the evidence collected
and considered section 20 of the Election Act, which, in my view, is intended to
protect the personal information of electors. I find that Minister Nally had
accessed the List of Electors for a purpose not authorized by the Election Act;
however, I acknowledge that there is ambiguity about whether the use of the
List of Electors would have been appropriate in these circumstances.
Accordingly, my decision is to close the file without issuing a letter of reprimand
or an administrative penalty. Instead, Minister Nally was provided advice to
support his future use of the List of Electors.
As required by section 54(2)(a) of the Recall Act and section 153.091(5) of the
Election Act, this is your notice of investigation outcome. My Office will be
taking no further action, and this matter is concluded

Enforce the Canada Health Act — or admit you’re willing to let it die. No hedging. No delay. No political choreography. Because once two-tier takes hold, you don’t fix it later. You live with it. Or you go bankrupt trying.
