Book 17 of 2026: Advice No One Asked For by Jenny Hagel. I really liked this. I knew she was funny but this was actual good advice!
Book 16 of 2026: Toxic Positivity by Whitney Goodman. Should be required reading for anyone in higher ed, in my opinion.
Book 15 of 2026: Gina Gershon’s Memoir- Alphapussy. By now I guess you know I love a memoir, and this one was great!

Book 13 Christina Applegate- You with the Sad Eyes: a Memoir. This was great but I took my time with it. It can be heavy.
Book 10 of 2026: Adulthood is a myth by Sarah Andersen. This was a good one to read on a short flight.
Taken this morning on the walk to work. I’m so happy with how this came out actually. I need to make myself stop and take a photo when I feel that urge.
Book 8 of 2026: Bonk The Curious Coupling of Science and Sex by Mary Roach. This was my second Mary Roach. I love how well researched and funny her books are.

I’m listening to an audiobook about Dolly so it seemed like a good choice
#2026Books book 3 is finished. I wanted to continue with Tricia Hersey’s books. We Will Rest: The Art of Escape. I don’t really like to review books btw. But I really liked this series and it’s given me a lot to think about.
I finished the second book of the year: Stiff: The Curious Lives of Human Cadavers by Mary Roach. #2026Books This was my first Mary Roach book and I really enjoyed it. She made a potentially difficult topic humorous without being disrespectful.

What is my horror movie role? Yeah, I’ve always said I would not be the final girl. I’m too ridiculous and clumsy. I’d get locked in the laundry room with no pants. I’d get murdered trying to escape through the window cuz my boobs (or butt) won’t fit. Doomed.
I’m sad to tell you that Mom’s dog Bosco is no longer with us. He was a sweet dog, loved observing the neighborhood through the window (and sometimes napping at that window). He had a nice long life with Mom.
Post a movie you like with a terrible rotten tomatoes score. I love Drive Away Dolls so much and while I have my theories about why it has such a low score, I think it’s ridiculous
