Um, no. I don't want to look for racism everywhere. They're not banning asylum from certain countries, but all asylum is my understanding. While there will be more asylum seekers from African countries than the Nordics, I wouldn't call it racism

This is from Wikipedia about the SA TRC. Many people who committed crimes were not punished, because they received amnesty. White S Africans could bring claims regarding violence done by the ANC. Think about what that would look like in the I/P conflict.

The commission was empowered to grant amnesty to those who committed abuses during the apartheid era, as long as the crimes were politically motivated, proportionate, and there was full disclosure by the person seeking amnesty. To avoid victor's justice, no side was exempt from appearing before the commission. The commission heard reports of human rights violations and considered amnesty applications from all sides, from the apartheid state to the liberation forces, including the African National Congress.

Found it, i think the precipitating comment had to do with her saying the ultimate spiritual authority was the Bible, not church teaching.
