Christopher Leutbrewer’s Gulde biecht‑konste was pub'd in many editions in the Southern Low Countries from 1646 into the 18th c. Over time the penitents in the title print change: males & females on different sides (as instructed by Borromeo in 1577) til the 1697 print, where sexes are mixed.
