I was chatting with my sister recently about podcast downloads and completely blew her mind when I told her how few listens you actually need to be in the top 50% of podcasts.🤯 The truth is, this surprises almost everyone.
#TBT to when "working remotely" meant scheduling social posts from a friend's house after a dip in the pool. Fast forward to today, & I'm still helping clients market their podcasts & create content that resonates with their audiences. Some things never change - I just need better back support now
I saw a post in a podcast group claiming you don’t need a website for your show. And I was enraged (okay, maybe just annoyed but this *is* a hill I’ll die on). You need a website (for your podcast or your business). Here’s why:💻
This is always the feeling I am hoping for when I make a podcast 😅 (If you are looking for help creating an engaging community for your podcast get in touch!)
I never take it for granted when someone takes the time to share feedback like this. 💬
Hi! Elder millennial here. 👋 Not only do I love ankle socks, I've also been using the internet for over 25 years. My computer education started with a green-and-black screen and a little game called Snake. 🐍 What does that have to do with my job? A lot, actually.
The question of our time: Does your podcast need video?🎥 Short answer? Only if you want it to. Long answer? Sure! But you've got to make it worth it.
I love this little beach garden 🌼🌻🌊 It's always a joy to see it return each summer.🌱🪻🌷
I love that #NationalBestFriendsDay and #WorldOceanDay are the same day. It feels like this day was specially made just for me and my BFFs🌊🐳💙🐬 (please enjoy this very old photo of us to celebrate)
People sometimes ask what I actually do all day.😅 The answer is... a little bit of everything. On any given day, I might be: 📊 Reviewing podcast, social media, and email analytics 📅 Checking in with clients about this week's priorities and what's coming up next
Good equipment is great. But a podcast you actually record is better. 🎙️ The quality of your audio (or video) recording is important, but if you're not excited about your topic, all that shiny equipment is going to be gathering dust pretty quickly. You don't need a perfect setup to get started.
🎙️ Podfade is real and it happens to the best of us. Podcasting is a long game. You started your show because you were excited about your topic, so it can feel disappointing when the excitement from everyone else doesn’t match your own right away. 👉That doesn’t mean your podcast is failing.
My days are usually filled with all kinds of client work: social scheduling, blog drafts, graphic creation... but deep down? A big juicy podcast edit is still one of my favourite places to be. 🎧
Had an amazing quick trip up the coast this weekend and now I'm back at my desk wishing I had never left 😅
Heading into summer with availability for new projects and collaborations 😎 From podcast editing and production to digital marketing, content creation, and consulting, I help creators, nonprofits, and businesses bring their ideas to life and get them out into the world. 🎙️ Let’s connect. ✨
Awkward about self-promotion, proud of the results. It’s a balance, right?⚖️
It has been a crazy ass month (and it's not over yet!) but at least there is this 😎
If you think just posting your episode is enough to get noticed in all that noise, you might end up disappointed. I can help you: 🎙️ Produce quality episodes (because nothing makes listeners leave faster than bad sound) 📣 Promote your show so people actually hear it
Excited and honored to be part of the new Professional Directory powered by Riverside! They have always been super supportive of creators/producers/editors and it always gives my imposter syndrome a little kick in the pants when I get to be a part of something like this. buff.ly/7q059fJ
Podcast myth: you need expensive equipment to start.🎙️ 👉False. Good audio matters, but it doesn’t have to be expensive. What matters more is having a topic you genuinely love and can keep talking about long term. Gear can improve over time. ✨Passion and consistency are what keep a show alive.
Forever grateful for kind words like these - they remind me why I love what I do.😊
The irony of struggling to market myself while offering marketing services? Very aware 😂 Titles are hard. What I actually do is help organize, strategize & execute your digital content Web audits, email marketing, podcast production, campaigns, outreach I can’t label it perfectly but I *can* help
