My Austrian Grand Prix adventure has come to an end. Despite the oppressive heat, it was such a great fun weekend. I’m totally going to do this again. Highly recommend

I did not. We had a little grill/broiler thing that was attached to our stove top that we used. It was fantastic. We used it all the time.

Went out for a walk to check out Granville and the FIFA festivities. 1) the street should be pedestrian only all the time 2) cops are grifters. This many cops on every corner, standing together chatting/pm phones. No doubt t they will ask for a bigger budget next yr /c of all the overtime this yr

Cutting funding to libraries, archives, and museums limits access to knowledge and shared history. These institutions preserve culture, support research, and serve communities. Cuts risk lost records and weakens feeling of community. They are essential to a healthy democracy.

The kids indoor vball career has come to an end. I’m sad that I am not going to get to watch her play competitively again. She is an amazing athlete and made me a very proud Mom. She worked hard and played with integrity. I hope she can find something that brings her as much joy as vball has

I have two very different kids: one makes me a Mother’s Day card filled with flowers and pretty things, the other one hands me her foot 🤣. Very touched they both took the time to make me a card. Love both my kids a tonne.
So FIFA is shutting down the road that I use to get in and out of downtown in 1 wks for basically the whole summer. They sent this out last wk. I haven’t gotten a pass and you still cannot request extra passes online. They expect to be able to get these passes out to people in less than 2 wks
My kid has apparently decided we are in full roommate mode now. She’s out here putting ownership labels on food. I bought the food, I cook the food but the food is then fully claimed by kid. Huh?
