What happens when leftists appropriate corporate lingo to meet the capitalists halfway? Are you ready to activate a “coordinated capacity freeze” and “strategic reset through unsolicited asset acquisition?” #PoliticalSatire #CorporateJargon
Perks of being an indy artist: needing promo pics for a gig and having to play BOTH the introspective model AND the photog who says, “undo another button, show some feet, and look at the camera like you mean it.” FREE show of original tunes at Waterfire Arts Center, Providence, Thu, 8/20, 6 pm.
Designing isn’t just about the final product—it’s about the dialogue we cultivate with our communities. Massive thanks and congrats to the brilliant authors who brought this book to life: Anne H. Berry, Meaghan Dee, and Rebecca Tegtmeyer.
“Holding Out For A Total Eclipse” is my mini-medley tribute to the recently departed Bonnie Tyler, rest in power ballads
My first time playing open mic night at The Parlour Providence. Here’s a clip of my new original song, “Fourth of July.” #Music #SingerSongwriter #OriginalMusic
660 grams / 1.5 pounds - our largest single-day raspberry harvest this year
🇺🇸 I wrote a new song for the Fourth of July. 🎶 Happy birthday, America! At 250, it's long past time you got over your Founding Father daddy issues 🦅 How are you celebrating (or protesting) Independence Day?
Perhaps the “coming together is NOT how we win” commenter plans to keep coming alone? Or do we think they are more of a “no release until revolution” type? 💦🌈🎹
🎶 “Everybody pick up a brick / Through thick and thin / Coming together is how we win...” Reworked this song for the piano to re-share the message in time to round out Pride Month. 🎹 What are other queer artists working on this month? 🌈
First time performing solo at a venue in Providence, and it's happening at America, Unfinished?! at Waterfire Arts Center. My contribution: Thurs, August 20, 1 night only. I'll be playing original indie-folk songs related to the theme. Opening reception July 2. I'll be there, come say hi.
I've been DSA-curious for years, and I finally joined today after last night's election results.
The heat and drought have been hard on the plants, but the rain has revived the garden, and the harvest continues. Here are some strawberries and red and golden raspberries that I picked today.
Dr. Abdul El-Sayed is in the house on day 4 of the UAW International Union Constitutional Convention!
“It is the time to tell because some of us cannot hear” – Derrick Johnson, CEO of the NAACP, and guest speaker this morning at the UAW ConCon
Our local has used social media video to both communicate with our members and to show the broader public our union democracy in action. Unfortunately, my amendment did not pass, but it was great practice making and defending a motion as a first-time delegate.
🍇 I heard it through the grapevine that this was one of the must-see places to visit in Detroit, 🎶 and now I’ve got sunshine on a cloudy day ☀️
The recent heatwave and drought conditions here in Rhode Island, which ended with yesterday's rains, have resulted in smaller, drier strawberries. Not as juicy, but they have a great concentrated flavor. 🍓
I got an automated copyright flag on a video I posted last year of me sitting at my home piano playing "Träumerei" by Robert Schumann. Schumann died in 1856. His music has been in the public domain for well over a century. 🚩 I have submitted a dispute.
I'm proud to announce that selections from my portrait series of the Rhode Island Gay Men's Chorus are featured in the art and literary publication Fluid: Revelry & Rebellion of Queer Joy. 🏳️🌈✨ Thanks to A&A Curation for including my work in this project. www.amandabaldiart.com/digitalpubli...
Honored to kick off Pride Month at the Rhode Island State House today! I got to sing with the Rhode Island Gay Men’s Chorus and witness the governor sign a proclamation making Pride Month official.
New portrait, thanks to Shutterstock for hosting me at their Empire State Building offices. The look: all linen, olive & pinstripes. Ready for summer.
