Meet our inaugural Children's Justice Fellow, Jorden Tyler, who has spent the summer supporting our attorneys on child welfare matters! He's assisted with memoranda and motions and conducted research for a multi-state reference guide on the educational rights of foster youth.

Know your rights when it comes to security deposits! If it's been 30+ days since you moved out and you haven't gotten your money back or an itemized list of how it was used, you can take your landlord to small claims court for up to twice the amount of the deposit.

Our Pro Bono Project has an urgent need for volunteers to represent children in foster care who have experienced abuse and neglect. We invite any attorneys interested to attend our next CLE on August 20 that goes through how to be an effective voice for these vulnerable youth.

Air conditioning is an essential service (literally) for any rental in Nevada. By law, property managers have 48 hours after receiving written notice from residents to fix—or use their best efforts to fix—issues with essential services.
