Painted it black too. For extra stealth. Because all my dangerous missions.
The rubber nubbin is a lil magnetic sensor, and every passing tine sends a lil signal to the computery dooda.
Replacing my speed ring (f’nar f’nar). It’s a lil bit rusty, but that’s not the problem. The problem is the missing tines. I did a thing to it a couple years ago, and now I want to make it right. Found a rusty one on eBay for £8, and shined it up nice. #motosky
Hey #motosky, where does the coolant go? I seem to need to top up the expansion tank periodically. Is it just bubbles getting filled, or does it get into the engine? Cuz I can’t see any leaks.
If any drummer played like this in a rock band, they’d get sacked.
Here’s the whole picture ICYWW. I love this stupid bike. A chopped-up BMW G650GS
Made these little… things and some straps to make any bag a tank bag #motosky Alt text: motorcycle things; photos of little aluminium bracket things riveted to a fibreglass faux tank, to allow a small rucksack to be strapped on.
Top tip: ratchet strap the centre stand to the frame to stop the bike rolling forward when you don’t want it to. #motosky
This lil monument to an historic event includes a UVF logo thingy and I’m SO OVER this bullshit.
Mucking about making a sorta mould of the bike contours. I want a new, sleeker faux tank
Hey #motosky, tell me about an all-in-one fuel filter & regulator. What sets apart a £50 unit from a £120 unit?
Way too technically philosophical for me. But I saved one really good quote:
Please enjoy this photo of a cat and a chicken in a shed. Both of them appreciated scritches.
This bland, yet stupidly overpowered American amp sounds so much better than it did. A few resistors changed, DC heater circuit ditched, anode voltages reduced to realistic levels. Clean channel is very Fender, and the gain channel is more Marshall now. No more thin & screechy distortion.
This is an abandoned amp. Randall RG 50 TC. Needs some work, then I’ll probably sell it. Or harvest the useful components.
So my kooky idea is to slim this whole lot down. New exhaust, a little lower, and a DIY petrol tank. Ditch the plastic, the grab rails and rack. Replace & relocate tail light and signals. I think. Maybe.
Do we have a winner, #motosky? DC KΩ setting for this air temp sensor jumps erratically. Anywhere from 100k to 6k. Could that explain why I used to get 134 miles for 9L of fuel and why it’s now around 120 miles for 10L?
