I really enjoyed Mole, so I made a video about it on @gamesradarplus.bsky.social
I've switched to Firefox and Duck Duck Go for personal search but still have Google at work and, man, it's worse than useless now. I just wanted to check my my spelling.
This video, breaking down how GTA 3 streams the city into the PS2's memory as you move around, has the most beautiful demo of it happening. youtu.be/cIbCxbrBCys?...
Month up. No real music yet but a bunch of interesting ideas and weird ass noises.
Pleeeeaaase God, someone mod the dragon from Skyrim into this. Let the circle be complete.
Sort of incredible the Google AI disclaimer is warning me of a problem it creates, and tells me to look up a non AI answer to be sure it isn't making it all up.
This looks a lot, and I’m only guessing, a lot like they did a costume and make up test and then pulled out a couple of polystyrene rocks and forest backdrop.
Always remember this Peanuts cartoon. Always surprised by how dark the original strip could be.
Just no idea when I’m going to get a chance to play it, but such good memories of that campaign and can’t say no at that price. Never understood why it was niche cultish thing. Such clever writing and design; a real lesson in game making.
Went back to the old Ontos teaser from a couple of months ago and ran the final noise through a Spectrum Analyzer...
This bit from the Ontos trailer is 100% someone's consciousness copy pasted across a wall of rat brains.
Ontos having the same chunky computer screen UI as Soma is an a choice. I know this is some sort of spiritual successor, so is it a shout out or mean something more?
While all the Resident Evil Requiem leaks are focusing on the big names, I want to know who Mr Hat is, sorta looking like he's with Chris Redfield in his Resi 1 STARs uniform?
Made a stupidly hard quiz where you have to identify the Call of Duty game by just the face on the box alone. Having literally just made it I only scored 18 out of 22. www.gamesradar.com/games/call-o...
Excellent that I now have to use a VPN to see images on a coding forum but also need to turn it off so I can search for what I need in the first place. Well done internet.
Remember seeing this EVERWHERE when it came out but never read it because I thought it was an author I didn’t like who did boring people just talking stuff. Did a double take seeing the TV Glow director was adapting it and holy shit I completely missed what this was about, so I’m going in.
The most boring search in the world, trying to find the make of a kitchen tap, somehow incudes one of the most horrific murders I’ve ever read about as the fifth result.
Reanimal is SO Little Nightmares 3 in all but name. Same basic game, feel, atmosphere; everything. Right down to things like discarded human skins being draped around exactly like the empty clothes were in LN2.
At a stage of debugging where sometimes the code repeats twice before it breaks, sometimes it’s six, sometimes it just keeps going. Great, thanks. Easy.
