I finished this really great version of the original Psycho novel last week. A great read, and anyone who is a fan of the movie should see what differences there are between that and the original source!

A copy of Psycho by Robert Bloch. This book has a tile-like hardcover and a slip sleep that hearkens to the movie based off the book.

I'm a big fan of the wheels on either side, which I have programmed to change my pen/eraser size (left) and rotate my canvas (right). I'll be honest, I don't use all of the buttons, but these are all customizable! The bottom buttons on both sides are where I programmed my most used shortcuts.

While we're waiting on new art posts, one thing I'd like to do is write up a review for my old tablet. It just broke down on me after 5 years, but it was a great piece of equipment. I've done or finished pretty much all of my pieces on the XP-Pen Artist 22R Pro, which I lovingly called "Big Boy"!

Kendra had no idea what she was getting into. And honestly, neither did I at the start of this book, but it was a fun ride (for me)! This piece is inspired by Bodies of Work, by Clay McLeod Chapman. The book mentioned water color, butterflies and butterfly girls, and a particularly painful snip in the back of the throat. I brought these elements into this digital painting, using water color brushes and the color palette of an eastern tiger swallowtail butterfly. Alternate version with the book's title!
