Meet Capella, Garden of Death, a late-game mercifully-short dungeon in the first Baten Kaitos (an otherwise excellent game, I must stress). The gimmick is that you're trawling through mud and moving extra-slow. All the enemies are the "mutually reviving skeletons" type. A literal trudge.

If you use just the outer filter layer over iridescent paper you can get fun results, and it takes color pencils fairly well... The graphics coder in me is very amused at how hellish this would be to render, you'd need a triple-layer material: iridescent base, colored diffuse filter, glossy mylar
Actually, I bought this thing to handle handwoven fabric, could it...? Under mylar only due to shearing making the material fragile but YES (We have over 100000 of those, I can get six circles off one respirator, it's fine to waste a few on arts and crafts)

Solid entry for "no, my spinning is not remotely even" (first skein on the left is just different yarn at this point), but some nice squish in there nonetheless. Shame it's SW merino / silk that feels dead to the touch

Ouaip. Et vu qu’on a fait évoluer les moutons pour avoir besoin de la tonte, que ça ne leur fait pas mal quand c’est bien fait, que la laine est en prime de meilleure qualité quand ils sont heureux et bien nourris, et que quand on en prend soin ça dure longtemps…
Je suis pas très fan des arguments d’autorité mais : non, c’est pas la même chose, les propriétés sont différentes, je passe 30% de mon temps libre avec un fuseau dans les mains et je cherche actuellement un local où caler ce bidule, quand je dis que c’est pas pareil je connais mon sujet :p
