Interesting read. Interesting also in the fact that none of the people leaving feel that their govt's genocide in Gaza, forced displacement in the WB, or attacking Iran, has anything to do with their lack of security at home.
“All homes in Lebanese villages near the border will be destroyed,” Katz said. By July, Katz claimed his threat had been carried out. “24 Lebanese villages, hundreds of years old, we destroyed all the buildings,” he said, boasting that up to 20,000 homes had been demolished. “entire villages.”
Ah sure, you still have something within approx 3 days cycling distance!
Paul Simon was in great form tonight in Dublin.
Things Israel does *not* investigate: - Unlawful killings of Palestinian children - Using famine as a tool of war against Gaza - Palestinian prisoner abuses happening across Israel - The illegal demolitions of entire Lebanese villages - Illegal settlers' attacks and killings in the West Bank
Imagine if everyone caused the same level of commotion for every child killed by the IDF.
Why not just shoot them and declare them Hamas? Children who want to go to school. Then they wonder why the whole world hates Israel. Because the IDF does things like this. Israel has no place on the international scene.
Ah wrll, if the Israeli ambassador says those nasty journos are terrorists, it must be true, and not part of a concerted effort to kill witnesses to war crimes, or aid workers, or medical personnel. www.theguardian.com/world/2026/m...
I got myself one of these, which my dad used to have in the 80s.
From the @financialtimes.com Death penalty for Palestinians who kill Israelis for nationalist reasons, but not for the illegal settlers (helped as always by the IDF) who killed 33 Palestinians in the West Bank over the past two years, for the same reasons.
If you want to go down the road Trump is going down, you better make sure the Dems dont even have a chance at doing the same back. Even more worringly for the GOP, you want to be damn sure you are also saying the right things so that Trump or one of his lackeys doesn't turn on you next.
Israel deliberately targets children for no other reason than to eliminate future generations of Palestinians.
Kushner has a point. There has been an increase in antisemitic sentiment since Israel has killed over 50k gazans, 87% of which were civilians and since the IDF has shot dead about 1000 people waiting for food. One might even come to the conclusion the events are connected.
When will these 'co-ordinated denunciations' turn into actions? Shame on that coward Friedrich Merz for not even being able to participate in such bland denunciations.
The IDF isn't the army of all Jews, it is an instrument of the government of Israel. Apologising to the Jewish community for airing criticisim of an army involved in unlawful conduct is tantamount to apologising to the Catholic community for someone shouting out 'death to all pedofile priests'.
Looks like Meloni has a direct line to Trump lol
As the EU leaders meet, the leaders of Germany, Italy, Austria, and Cz need to listen to their constituents and have Israel suffer consequences for their actions. Deliberate killings each day, to the tune of almost 50 people because they are queuing for food.
Mark Rutte's note to Trump. He knows how to butter him up alright!
Maybe the Iranian forces had intell telling them that IDF forces were hiding in the basement.Maybe the doctors working there were part of the Israeli state, supporting the IDF by providing medical services to soldiers or the general population. Israel should have no issue with either scenario.
It looks like the IDF is getting lazy, and instead of going around Gaza looking for Palestinians to kill, they just made sure the Palestinians would come to them at specific places, so they could murder them with a better ROI on their ammunition.
Because starting a war with Iran and then having your own population bombed in return gives you carte blanche to keep shooting off Palestinians looking for food, and keeping them as close as possible to starvation.
Despite what the headline would lead you to believe, Birwani has no sentences against him, and the only source of him being described as a 'Hamas operative' is...Israel of course. Misleading journalism like this only serves Israel's interests @telegraphnews.bsky.social
