Not your stereotypical Boomer. Veteran, mom, metal-head, and an avid gamer. A political wonk since we fought for the right to vote at 18. Democracy requires participation. No DMs. There's a block option and I'm not afraid to use it.
I'm on my way to the bank to set up a small savings account for my dogs. I'm getting older everyday and I want to make sure that their needs will be met when I'm gone. I went to the same rescue to find my fur babies. The big guy is an anxious dog and we got little Mia last week - now his best bud!
My fav photo shows my Pita's whacko personality. She was a whack job until the day she died at nearly 15.
I understand. I currently have a 57+lb mutt that is just over a year so I have no idea how big he will end up. Total mama's boy. DNA estimates he could reach 77 lbs. We'll see.
1/2. This may not reach a lot of people but thought I'd put it out there. If your dog is snapping at a fly that isn't there, pay attention. It could be an ocular seizure. I took my 1 yr old dog to the vet because he was doing this over the weekend. Underlying conditions can cause ocular seizures.
It's why boycotts and protests will be the tools we use. We need leadership and organizations willing to fight and keep an eye on things like the purchase of Dominion - which then changed to Liberty Vote. The company is owned by an ex-Republican elections official. Maybe it's okay, maybe it's not.
Well, well, well... It appears that Rep. Dan Crenshaw has removed his official congressional email contact form. Coward.
My puppy, Sully, is changing everyday. I looked up from coffee this morning and saw this. First pic is a couple of days ago. He's a rescue with 17 breeds in his DNA. Mostly GSD and poodle. No, he's not a terrier unless you count 1% Yorkie.
That's adorable how the puppy asked for pets. I was looking to adopt a dachshund or mix after my best bud suddenly died. Best laid plans and all, I fell in love with this guy who was timid at the beginning too. He's going to be a lot bigger than I wanted. Can't deny what the heart wants.
Some good news for today: my rescue puppy,Sully, had his heart murmur evaluated and he’s cleared for his neuter appointment.
OMG!! I adopted Sully just after my good ol' boy suddenly died. He's a Heinz 57 dog, mostly German Shepherd and Poodle.
Awesome. I envy people with cool places to walk their dogs. My guy, Sully, only gets to view the woods from a distance. He's a rescue, got 17 breeds in his DNA and changing every day. Only 5-6 months old and already completely different. He's mostly German Shepherd and Poodle. Go figure.
My new best bud Sully. My Loki died last month and Sully is here to fill the hole in my heart. Doing a great job too.
Dogs are the best. Just need to vent: Loki is older than the photo. I just found out he has arthritis in his back & his hip socket is gone. He's never let on. The vet said he didn't complain. Poor boy can't take NSAIDs or steroids so it's morphine when it's bad. I am taking the days my boy has left
Yes. My babies have thick undercoats. I hate this time of year. This wackadoodle is 14 and sheds a LOT.
I have a dog that was a “boinky-boinky” puppy. He was hilarious to watch. Then, as an adult, he still bounces and will jump up with front legs spread looking like a bear about to hug you to death.
