Readers of Euromaidan Press should be aware that they are spreading unsubstantiated misinformation. #Zelenskyy #Ukraine
If Zelenskyy's ratings were "in the toilet," where were everyone else's? Somewhere low enough that Zelenskyy was still the most popular politician in Ukraine. Let's also not forget that Zelenskyy is the one who brought Fedorov with him into the government to focus on projects like Diia.
... primarily given by local unit commanders, and no written global directive exists. In the Litopys volumes you referenced, the UPA's main enemies were Germans and Soviets. You can also find evidence that "it was not the desire of the OUN Leadership [...] to carry out ethnic cleansing in [Volyn]."
Really, Canada? People there have more confidence in Putin than people in the US? @pewresearch.org
Just "a bit" cringeworthy? I am glad he's using his talents for a good cause now.
Unfounded catastrophizing - placing all blame on Zelenskyy and none on the country which used to subjugate Ukrainians. Relations with Poland are tense, but if Zelenskyy/Ukraine can sign defense contracts with Germany, it's possible to reconcile with Poland someday.
❗️Zelenskyy: "Our state, Ukraine, which respects itself, values its own and protects its right to be Ukrainians. When no one will ever tell us how to live, how to speak, whom to love, whom to be grateful to and which heroes to honor." 🇺🇦
As of 2025, a majority of Ukrainians have a positive or uncertain view of the OUN/UPA during WWII. However, the high percentage of uncertain feelings indicates a general lack of awareness of this subject among Ukrainians. 3/5
When asked how to approach historical disputes with Poland, a majority of Ukrainians (57%) believe that "each country can have its own view of history and should not interfere with how another country sees it." Another 33% think both countries should try to find a common view. 🧵 1/5
President Zelenskyy's trust rating has increased slightly to 61%, remaining very stable. He has the highest overall trust rating of Ukrainian politicians and public figures. Military figures continue to be highly-trusted as well, and their numbers have also not changed much since January.
I'm sure he's satisfied with the ballroom he already has, which he uses to honor citizens who have helped to defend the country.
Yuri Velikiy, a comedian from Odesa who has worked with Zelenskyy and Kvartal 95, made an astute observation.
🔥 I'm glad Zelenskyy still has his sense of humor. We all need a good laugh these days. www.president.gov.ua/documents/37...
Zelenskyy: "Now, on May 8, when most of the world remembers and honors the warriors of World War II – those who defeated the Nazis – one must recognize that today’s Russian Nazis are continuing their war and are still trying to bring back the same insane order that was defeated in World War II." 1/3
Zelenskyy: "Russia has received a clear offer from us regarding silence and diplomacy and knows how to contact Ukraine or its partners to agree on the details. If that one person in Moscow who can't live without war is only interested in one parade and nothing else, then that's a different matter."
Ukrainians' trust in President Zelenskyy remains stable and relatively high with mostly minor fluctuations over the past 10 months. Even among those who say they distrust him, a majority believe he should remain president during the war. kiis.com.ua
The new antisemitism law in Ukraine has absolutely no mention of Israel. 🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦 #StandWithUkraine
Some people are so desperate to portray Zelenskyy as Netanyahu's ally. Criticism of Israel is not banned in Ukraine. The law Zelenskyy recently signed was passed in 2022 and literally just adds "manifestations of anti-Semitism" to the existing law that criminalizes religious discrimination.
No, it isn't and hasn't been for years. That distinction belongs to Russia.
Zelenskyy never said he would help "in Iran" - only that he was ready for a dialogue regarding defense expertise. He also specifically talked about trying to prevent any human losses.
The official English translation is 'Zelenskyy'. That is how he writes it himself.
Seems like it's time for this again. It doesn't matter what names you call him or how you try to insult him; he will always be a better leader and a better human. #StandWithUkraine #Zelenskyy
Since the Western press feels the need to talk about Zelenskyy's domestic poll numbers, I will point out that his trust rating has fluctuated, but he is now close to where he was 2 years ago. His numbers have been very stable since last summer, even during scandal and protests.
Zelenskyy and his partner were in second place after the final dance, but an outpouring of audience votes gave them a significant lead. Judges said that what Zelenskyy may have lacked in technical expertise he more than made up for with charm and wit.
Just as he's been saying for years, President Zelenskyy reiterated that he does not support the idea of giving any territory to Russia, and he doesn't believe the Ukrainian people would agree to it, either.
