Fish Fly! I live 5 miles from the Detroit River. They don't normally travel this far inland. In my 26 years of living here, I cannot recall seeing one at my house. I grew up closer to their habitat, so this is kinda cool. The lakes must be very healthy this year and they are plentiful. #fishfly

Second rhubarb harvest. It was a banner year in the (Bender) household. The first batch yielded 3 pints of jam. This batch should be more than 8 cups, enough for some barbecue sauce.

It's been awhile since I've been to the bar. I always enjoy a place that has lots of fun decor. The two black stickers caught my eye. Top: "I didn't text you, Vodka texted you" Bottom: "Girlfriends are just therapists you can drink with" I can relate.
