Seen this shared a lot and - lol I'm gonna be real - Labour ain't never winning back left-liberals with this kind of attitude The fact that Labour folk think the current UK situation - a bathroom ban facilitated by a Labour govt - is an example of "getting it right" is chilling!
And, even there, they won largely due to losing less of the vote than Labour did rather than actually gaining!
Spoke too soon - one other Labour hold against a backdrop of a very good example of why FPTP is useless!
Looking plausible that Minesh is only Labour hold in Sheffield? He has a strong personal vote I have to say Reform gain in Park & Arbourthorne came as a surprise to me - bit less surprising that partially due to Mowlana's vote holding up a /little/ better and Reform somewhat sneaking through middle

This is great column - can't emphasise enough how true this bit is in particular. Our findings (doi.org/10.1037/bul0...) have been clear - confronting prejudice when it crops up reduces behavioural prejudice. Not confronting allows to fester. Why? Because confronting signals anti-prejudiced norms!

“But Thamesmead is underserved by public transport!” It is better connected to a station than most of Sheffield is to our central station which still relies on diesel trains! By all means extend the DLR. But to do so while cancelling projects that the North having been waiting on for decades??!
Very telling for a Labour MP to claim that Farage and Polanski are the same, and shows just how little Labour understand the current moment. It's quite a brass neck to claim so when Labour is, of course, /actually/ aligned with Farage in blaming our problems on foreigners and migrants as Farage is!
