Calvin's dad: "There are two types of Pokémon in the world: Grass or Flying.

Calvin's dad, continuing from last panel: "Dodrio? Grass.

There are two types of

The record player comic from Calvin and Hobbes except it gets progressively engulfed in a sea of blood, with the two bottom panels completely submerged in it. No words are said after the first panel, Calvin's dad is almost impossible to see in the third panel, and Calvin is silhouetted in the last panel.

sonic enemies come in two flavors

Two Badniks from the Sonic franchise. On the left is the simple and bloblike badnik "Puyoyo" from Sonic Labyrinth. It is a transparent blob with googly eyes. It is captioned "itty bitty baby, itty bitty boat." On the right side is a massive Egg Guardian. It is intimidating, imposing, and heavily detailed. It is captioned "designed to kill you to megadeath."

Apparently they're called "jacks" which is so different that they have a separate page from springs on the Mario Wiki. Just look at how radically disparate they are from springs:

A jack from Donkey Kong, which greatly resembles the typical Mario spring.

A spring from Donkey Kong Jr., which is visually only a barely touched-up version of the jack.

In IDW there's a traumatized dark-skinned woman who's a masked sniper that is willing to shoot anyone who crosses her and Archie Sonic diehards will tell you that she pales in comparison to THEIR flagship character: a talking chipmunk.

unattractive? These are all hallmarks of a transphobic, particularly transmisogynistic, caricature. A fat, perverted man in a dress is a staple among trans woman stereotypes. Frankly, it's astounding to miss the similarities between this and similar caricatures.

It's the same string of logic, yeah. I don't think you can approve this kind of character design while feeling normal about trans people, particularly trans women.

A character from Smiling Friends who is depicted as a grotesque, hairy, warty fat man with squinty eyes wearing a dirty and ill-fitting anime girl cosplay. It is very reminiscent of a trans caricature.

It's funny that there are horses named "Still in Love", "Loves Only You", and "Daring Heart", and all of them live in the same dorm, and absolutely NONE of them are roommates.
