They really are! The local physics grad students also hold an annual “physics fest” around homecoming weekend (William & Mary). It’s fun for kids of all ages. Scientists are so awesome.

This deck of cards is more about research facilities and equipment than people though… so not really “trading cards”. And I haven’t figured out a way to play any games with them… so not playing cards either. They are educational flash cards. Local grad students were giving them away at an event.

So I was trying to read about this in article form & I often use “look up” feature to define terms I’m not familiar with (again, not a scientist just a fascinated fan of physics) Anyway, this is what the internet used to help me understand “Kerr-like bodies”. Seems letters “a” & “i” are problematic
