I live in Ohio, a location that doesn't have this plant on the National Forest list as a native - states around yes. So, I never sought it out. Well, 3 years ago - it showed up. Right in the middle of my native garden! Each year it grows. I'm guessing a bird left a seed or . . . me wishing?
