Quentin Blake's art materials on display at the Quentin Blake Centre for Illustration in London. GORGEOUS. All 3 exhibitions, Blake, Murugiah, and Queer Comics, were fab. My heart is full.

Last night I saw the cranes that worship the Moon

Night sky with a glowing half Moon in the centre. The bottom quarter of the photo is a silhouetted tree line, from which 2 cranes emerge, their tips have red lights on them which point up directly towards the Moon and look kinda spooky.

For about a year I drew comics featuring this version of myself called Spiderhead that helped me process finding out I'm autistic #artshare

When you need to be ready for advent 2 months in advance but you also don't believe the world was created in 6 days #autismcoded

A chocolate advent calendar that has pictures of dinosaurs all over it and no reference to Christmas. The label says "dinosaurs and other prehistoric reptiles" anticipating all the autistic kids about to complain at length to their parents about which species are not true dinosaurs.

I'm still not ready to shut up about how much I love autumn! I have brought a bit of nature up into my flat - I can't really access nature directly but store-bought is fine.

I've been participating in the classic autistic activity of trying to look at every stone on the beach and taking the best ones home.

6 unusual rocks on a terracotta tile. One looks like Nemo, one has a ghost on it, one looks like orange peel, one has an interesting blue patch, one has very thin stripes, and one is brown with black scribbles on that could be fossils.

I like making things. I remembered I had some book binding stuff so I'm testing it out. Do people hand make hardback zines/comics? I've heard of people printing and binding their favourite fanfic and that's a bit lovely.

Thinking about comfort characters makes you feel better so you’d think they’d be someone wholesome, but it’s often a serial killer, monster, the most toxic boyfriend imaginable, or somehow all 3 combined...

I forgot that by making a comic about myself I'd be subject to the mortifying ordeal of being known. These are all from the same comic, the style and colour shifts to reflect my emotional state at different parts of the story. I Am Perfectly Normal, available at the @ldcomics.bsky.social fair
