I was thinking about Hermes and Meteion from FFXIV and I drew this as a result. Flagged for spoiler-y material being depicted/referenced.

In the first panel, Hermes kneels down to Meteion and simply requests, "Meteion, please tell me something to end my depression."
Over the next two panels, Meteion surrenders over to the nihilistic emptiness of her sisters, and then Hermes just stares down at Meteion in dejected depression.

I was drawing this as an experiment for ways I could quickly render comic pages yesterday, but then I got distracted with that Sonic comic last night. So anyway, I've been thinking about that one Shadowbringers cutscene again. OwO

A comic page portraying the events from the end of the Shadowbringers expansion of Final Fantasy XIV: Emet-Selch is faced with the silhouette of the warrior light against several pillars of light. In the ensuing panels, he grows enraged, uttering, "Damn you... DAMN YOU ALL!" as his fury peaks.
