Sadly the is or was power struggle that’s clearly been going on behind the scenes at Wikipedia is toggled to “is” at the moment! I’m imagining it’s been something like this -
I bought a small fan, and this was emblazoned on the side of the box. I’m going to adopt it as my mantra.
Just sold some more empty Douwe Egberts jars. Wildly, earlier this week someone made me an offer for all the jars I had left. I don’t at all understand why there’s a market for these things, but hey 🤷♀️ Should I expand into empty mustard jars? You know, the ones shaped like beer glasses?
This just came through the letter slot from one of the local churches. Quite apart from - eww - why do we need a US passport to get into heaven?

Name a TV show you’re positive no one remembers but you. Not even my friends from school had a clue what I was on about when I talked about this show.
EWWW JUST EWWW. NOBODY wants this. I just want to sell my empty coffee jars and buy my wool. I don’t want it to become social media too.
Remember the tree in our neighbourhood that was covered in Virginia Creeper? And seemed to be a nesting area for red kites? Yeah well…seems our trees are now among the tallest in the street.
This is what I said (in response to the picture). I’m absolutely incensed. I unfollowed her and “snoozed for 30 days” and went and did something else but then I was like, NO. I need to say something. Like, how is the child of an immigrant so ignorant!
We don’t usually see each other’s headers. Quote post with yours.
Youngest son decided to make some “hot dogs” (hot dog buns with Polish sausages) and topped them with our homemade tomato relish and THEY ARE SO YUMMY
We’ve named our local pigeon “Chonk” because it eats all the birb food and is, well, somewhat Rubenesque. Anyway, Chonk is also quite clever and has realised that sitting where the clotheslines intersect is more likely to hold their weight than just sitting on one line, as a smaller birb might.
What to make with an excess of berries…well cupcakes of course!
Ended up with 5 3/4 pickle jars of tomato relish. Think it’s going to have to be stored in the fridge. Also we had a tragedy with one of yesterday’s jam jars - the lid hadn’t been screwed on tightly and it came off as I was moving it! Jam down the sink :(
It begins. Onions and tomatoes have been salted and will rest for a while to extract all the excess liquid.
