In this installment of "Ash Made Me Watch It," I'm trying something more mainstream with known actors (Christina Ricci, Liam Neeson) with "After.Life" We're opening strong with Liam giving creepy undertaker in the opening.
Big ol' black cat does not seem to care that it's 25C inside. There will be a blanket on the legs and on that blanket will be a 14 pound cat.
Me: Nope, I don't need material things at this point. *Scrolls feeds OH C'MON! www.crowkapot.com
Five hours of sleep, 8 hr shift, 10.1 km for cat sitting and dog walking! My nighttime walk home didn't reveal any owls, but I did see a large slug, and helped a Ground Beetle flip right side up so it could trundle across the path. There's no way I'm setting an alarm for tomorrow.
Barred Owls, and other Owls, have a red eyeshine. Red eyes staring at you in the night woods? I can see how that would be creepy. Pic from crewtrust.org/tag/barred-o...
Ye Owls, the Paranormal State Mothman episode. I would give my back teeth to do a nighttime Critter Crawl/Owl Prowl in the old TNT area. But first, we must pay homage to the Mothman's personal trainer.
I have Good Squirrel Brain Days and Bad Squirrel Brain Days. I looked for my sunglasses for over 30 minutes before locating them in their current location. Guess what kind of Squirrel Brain Day it is. (I also forgot Dan Aykroyd's name.)
Me: Rough night, Sweetiebug? Ash: Don't wake me Mom. You heard them, right? Me: The two immature Great Horned Owls talking to each other last night? Ash: They were screaming! Me: They'll hoot when they're grown Ash: It's death on wings! A clear security threat! Me: Well, to cats, sure... Ash: Hey!
This one is definitely on the "Ash Made Me Watch It" List because I'm undeniably trapped by cat.
Me: Sweetiebug, WTF was all that? Ash: Don't worry about it. Me: No no no, we're going to worry about it. Exactly how much dead mouse is waiting for me downstairs? Ash: You'll get the AAR from Sass Panther Security at the end of the day. Me: How much stunned mouse is waiting for me then? Ash: shrug
Found a foxglove terminal peloria mutant blossom on my walk to my cat sitting gig!
We're at maximum #HeatFeets now. Oh, he has a cooler downstairs with a nice fan, but he'd rather melt upstairs.
Day 210 of Mug Watch: Ah, a Mug worthy of the name! Dodges errant elbows, random Squirrel Brain arm flailing, and fumble-fingers. Today was a choco-coffee!
I'm sure they just forgot them. I'm going to tell myself this lest my already shriveling opinion of humans dessicates further. Narrator: there were two such bags.
I first saw "The Changeling" when I shouldn't have (elementary school age, peeking into the living room when I should have been sleeping while my parents watched the movie). The first time I was able to watch it all time way through without hiding my face was when I was in my late 30s.
The Nevada Bumblebee, named derived from being a bee roughly the size of the state of Nevada (I'm kidding, of course, but they are huge.) www.bumblebeeatlas.org/pages/bombus...
Ash: Hold up, Mom. Union mandated snack break. Me: I don't think so, Sweetiebug. Can't you hear Mama and Pop Song Sparrow pitching a fit? Clearly their babies are in there. Ash: And? Me: You're not eating babies. Ash: Sparrow McNuggets shouldn't be ground nesters. Me: *rapid cat extraction petformed
Ash: FEAR! FIRE! FOES! AWAKE! Me: Dude, it's just another cat. They're minding their own business. Ash: Sass Panther Security indicates a Level Worst Threat Ever. Me: Dude... Ash: They're in my Outside without clearance. Me: They're a fellow Void. Ash: Their handsomeness is not under debate.
Between screwflies and mummy yeast bread and *waves arms randomly at everything* I think you need to see Ash. Here is Ash.
The Night Gallery offers for your approval this multidimensional piece in our Thirst series, entitled "Bloody Mary."
In continuation of the Night Gallery's installation of the multimedia exhibition "Canned Response," we offer this piece entitled "Toxic Masculinity."
Mug Watch Day 189: A most formidable Mug! I was worried that the Mug would toss itself off of the counter after the Mellon Coffee and the Infinite Sadness Incident, but it's made of sterner stuff!
