Hello my friends, and welcome to our Summer 2026 Newsletter!! We are up for a really interesting summer with lots of projects big and small, but all impactful. In London, I'm singing in a new production of 1 puritani at the Royal Opera House, led by Ricardo Frizza.

What a night!! Bravissimi to all of my colleagues on this very exciting premiere of I puritani Royalballetandopera Despite this being a rather dark opera and a challenging score, I’m waking up to sunshine in my window and in my heart.

Tonight is our very exciting premiere here in London of Bellini’s masterpiece I PURITANI Royalballetandopera I am looking forward to performing alongside my amazing colleagues in this beautiful new production by Sir Richard Jones.

Meet Bellini’s heroine 🎵 At the heart of I Puritani is Elvira, a role that demands extraordinary vocal and dramatic artistry from the soprano who performs it.

To anyone who's ever felt like an imposter: I feel it too. I look at the greats and I feel tiny. But here's what I tell my students - you're one tile in a mosaic. Up close it looks like you don't fit. Stand back, and it's a masterpiece. Don't sand down the parts that make you you.

Your voice is a living, breathing part of you — not a machine. That means your mental and physical health come first. I speak from experience: cutting out negativity and really honoring self-care changed my life and my singing. Don’t ever feel guilty putting yourself first.

Well into the rehearsals for I Puritani here in London! Feeling really great and I love running in London parks! The weather is so runner friendly. And the gardens are so stunning it’s tempting to stop every few meters to admire them! 🌳🌷🌸🌹
