still have to trim and tighten a lil bit here and there but I finished up a figure over my vacation. I didnt know what to do with it (cuz i dont plan i just start poking) but my friend @rennigan.bsky.social suggested confetti birthday theme with a candle horn! BRILLANT. #needlefelt #fiberart

I am back from a weeks trip to a cabin, I found treasures grumblingrannys.com since it wasnt too far ! Idk how we avoided the worst of the weather this week, considering the heat flare and wildfires, but besides the one super hot day it was perfect cabin weather.

this is a spare room so i never get around to fixing up the paint job, but ignore that and just admire the aesthetic

please witness this cute little hedgehog who now holds up my old beatrix potter books.

A small novelty wooden hedgehog painted teal with a pattern of pink and yellow flowers. It glows with whimsical joy, and the combination of colors is extremely satisfying together. Beside it are several beatrix potter books, a candle, and a crocheted blue potion bottle with a little face that I bought from a mom that was sharing a table with her daughter in artist alley. I bought something from both the daughter and the mom, it was a joyous day.

this is what it looked like in spring after I fought back some of the weeds. I scavenged enough stones for the rest of the rock border around the tree. Its been a fun project to make this back area prettier for my house row.

I've been filling it in with snow-on-the-mountain here and there. The ferns are SO happy and the hosta is about to bloom too. Its filled out so much and the neighbors are loving it 🥰

vet bills have hurt muchly and i may open up some YCH to try to lessen the sting ... but at LEAST I GET KICKSTARTER TREATS FROM THE ART OF @alexries.com !!! I remember the awe I felt reading dinotopia books and my moms sci-fi concept art collection, this fits right into that shelf.
