i’ve gone through a lot of hard times over the past decade, but my one constant that has made surviving worth it is my cat and our bond. i’m terrified of what my life would be like without him, he’s my best friend. so naturally, every day i tell him how he has to live forever (he’s around 15 now!)

My beautiful long haired black cat is laying on the floor in a bright sun spot, which makes his fur glow orange. This may be confusing, and may be an argument that maybe my black cat is actually an incognito orange cat. Either way, he is the cutest cat! Also he is laying on his tail in the photo, but he does in fact have a long fluffy tail.

My beautiful black long haired cat is sleeping and resting his head in my hand, like my hand was made to hold his little head just for this very purpose. He appears to be very happy and content, and has one front leg reaching up and touching my arm. He has three white whiskers and they stand out against his black fur, looking adorable.

He loves to hold hands when he’s sleeping and it’s so special and adorable. i finally felt well enough to go on a mini walk to admire my neighbors’ flowers yesterday, and it did not disappoint 🌷🌿
