Once upon a time there was a girl from a common family who grew up to become almost the strongest cultivator in the whole world. The one where JC thinks his crush on NHS is a curse is so good (though all your stuff is so good!) You really nailed the emotions and helpless delight of JC's crush. Like look at this!! So cute! You write emotions well, and the attention to detail!

Nie Huaisang laughs hard at that, a real laugh, not one of the little giggles he hides behind his fan. He throws his head back, which makes the green jade drops in his ears sway back and forth like little bells and accentuates the finely drawn lines of his jaw. Jiang Cheng’s mouth goes dry for some reason. Somehow, he finds the little snort Nie Huaisang lets out incredibly endearing, and when he bites his lip to keep himself from snickering even more, Jiang Cheng feels like he can’t breathe for a second.

12. Year 5 of the courtship is going to be particularly juicy! Lots of little building blocks will culminate in that year, as well as introducing some new people into the drama of it all. I'm especially excited for the Liu Qingge and Luo Binghe confrontations/conversations

Year 5: Liu Qingge settling into the new routine but keeps getting thrown as things continue to change. Many demons watch their relationship closely this year, especially with pitying looks to Liu Qingge. Especially if Luo Binghe is around. Luo Binghe eventually confronts Liu Qingge about these rumors that he rejected Liu Qingge's courtship. Furious, confused. Liu Qingge has to explain what he understands from the stories and rumors he's heard. Luo Binghe does not understand Liu Qingge can disregard those who are close to him so easily (for Luo Binghe, much of the world is just people to be used to his own ends, and then a tiny group of people he considers valuable. The casualness of Liu Qingge's relationship with Shen Qingqiu that is still fraught with emotions for both of them confuses him and the confusion makes him angry because it scares him). Tianlang-Jun comes back this year as well. Liu Qingge gets to have a blunt discussion about love with someone who is more experienced and jaded for it. After their conversation, gives him recommendations on how to find phoenix down to help boost the strength of his nephew's resurrection

I recieved a book of Chinese proverbs as a gift. I immediately opened to a page that had the demon romance ideology. Could also describe Liu Qingge's respect system lol
