Got a pot of cold brew going with orange peel and lemon verbana, and why can't I drink it now?

Looking down into a metal stock pot with coffee grounds, strips of orange peel, and two large sprigs of lemon verbana at the bottom. The peel and herbs reflecting on the sides of the pot look a little wild. I haven't added water yet.

The problem with this article is that flag is a mashup of the US and Canadian flags. I feel like we'd be looking at something more like this:

It's not the size, it's that they're clear. It's hard to make clear ice at home and they disappear in cocktails. You wouldn't use a big cube in scotch, you don't want it that cold or dilute. Is it silly? Yes. But it's what you get at cocktail bars so sometimes people want to replicate at home.

The Aussie bar down the street is closing, which is sad for many reasons including 1) the drinks are great and 2) it's fun to be called "mate" unironically but especially 3) I fucking love the vinegar wings from the Filipino pop-up that uses their kitchen.

Amused myself at the ROM by trying to line up fossil antlers with my head.

The perspective makes them look more like a giant hair ornament than actual weapons, unfortunately.

Just watched them plug this boat it. How long do you suppose it takes to charge a boat?

A long, low, tourist raft on the Rideau canal in Ottawa. The sides are open with glass rails, and there is a cockpit on both ends so it can be steered from either end. There are green panels that tout it is 100% electric, and a red cable not really visible pulled across the deck to plug in to an outlet near the edge.

There's an a/c vent on the floor in my closet and there's nothing like coming home when it's 35°C out, taking a quick shower, then putting on a linen caftan that's been hanging over it and is approximately icebox temperature.

All of our non-refrigerated produce lives under these pop up mesh covers in the summer and it's made a bigger difference than anything else I've tried.

I don't understand who this kind of bot is for. Why would I want to answer this question from a bot, for one. The answer is in initial post that started the chain, for two. I blocked, obviously, but it just baffles me that it exists.

I paid extra for white glove delivery 'cause I didn't want to haul two 117# boxes upstairs, but that message didn't get to the delivery company. But I really didn't want to deal with the unboxing mess after Raja gets home tomorrow with his mum, so I gave it a shot and now I feel invincible.
