For some reason Bratislava is commemorating the coronation of Maria Theresa as “King” of Hungary this weekend even though it actually took place here on 25 June (not July) 1741, when I don’t think they still had knightly tournaments
And some actual archives - most identified as facsimiles though they’re v good ones. This is an original 13thc lease of a mint & smelting works
Excellent (& v popular) exhibition on the medieval Premyslyd rulers of Bohemia at the National Museum in Prague. Rare to see the period given a blockbuster!
