Students in my school LOVED a good series. I had a thirty page guide to them & spine labels indicating where each book sat in the series. I was so pressed for time that I generally only read the first book in any series despite there being so many great ones. Couple of exceptions 👇🏻
Very much enjoying this sequel to A Beginner’s Guide to Breaking and Entering’ by @andrewhunterm.bsky.social and the fact my local library thinks he’s Andy Murray the tennis champion

Underneath that strange pic, all the categories are represented by blank items. Likely not AI, but an odd choice. What I thought was a blank newspaper seems to be a big napkin. ‘Magazines’ - photo has blank pages.
Good to know it’s not immediately taking over from booksellers and librarians! Someone recommended this to me when I’d finished London Falling.

Am a few chapters in and enjoying this story of a friendship between over-achiever James and the more freewheeling Roland through the upheavals of modern working life. If you like Jonathan Coe, you might like this.
