That rarest of finishes - disqualified for not breaking in the ropes. Rare, admittedly, because it's not very exciting.
It is ONCE AGAIN time for The Wrestling at Radstock's famous and historic Whisty Hall, featuring a BIGGER ring! I reckon you could suplex someone and not have their legs hit the opposite ropes in this.
Just noticed that this music toy in the local playground has eschewed such quotidian approaches as C Major, or a diatonic scale, in favour of B Locrian. Bold, jazzy, crunchy.
Went to the circus. I only took one photo, but when you see a guy riding a unicycle on a tightrope it's rude not to. Great show. If John Lawson's Circus come by your neck of the woods, it's a good time guaranteed!
Having a little game of Fugitive with my 10 year old, it's SO GOOD. 2 player hidden movement with awesome art!
I like a Dexterity Game, me, and Junk Art (the proper wooden edition, of course) is hard to beat #BoardGamea
Good showing for the Ragwort in the garden this year, now featuring many Stripy Boys
In this house we respect the classics (Camel Up, First Edition) #BoardGames
Ok this one's in my neighbour's garden but it's right here too - Meadow Cranesbill
Been dancing The Morris at Chippenham Folk Festival today. Lovely time. The British folk scene is a great demonstration of how white Boomers can be easily steered away from dogshit TERFy politics simply by being around trans people who like the same things they do.
Went on a lovely Bat Walk with my bat-obsessed 10-year-old. Saw some bats, played with a sonar detecting device thingy, lovely stuff. And free!
My 10-year-old's latest Special Interest is cake decorating, so we got her a bunch of good tools for her birthday and she decorated her own cake. This is the first time she's ever tried it.
I have two mystery fast-growing shrubs in my garden. Possibly Wild Cherry and Goat Willow. This is the latter.
