Software engineer by day, professional musician by night. I do also very much love D&D and TTRPGs. I'm a DM and someday I'll have time to be a PC again.
I hope your day gets better! Today I donated a bunch of fresh thyme and dill that expanded in my plot at the community garden. This is an old picture, but my Dorian is still this ridiculous 10 years later.
Polish fest in Salem today. 4 sets on clarinet over 5 hours. It’s a marathon. But at least there are pierogies!
Today is absolutely the worst day to have to come into town to do a rehearsal at Berklee because everyone is in town for allllll the sports. Glad the T isn’t on fire today because parking is not an option downtown anywhere right now
Awwww all I can think about is the transformation in Howl's face. "To be loved is to be changed!" which was a quote from 2023 after this adorable little guy got adopted and his story went viral coleandmarmalade.com/2024/05/03/f...
This weekend Lookie Lookie played at a wonderful location called Lou's on Brattle St. in Cambridge. I highly recommend checking them out for either dinner or brunch because their food is absolutely bangin'. Read the Alt-Text in the first photo for much more information. www.wearelous.com
I wish I knew the original artist’s name - i found it on Facebook but the OP was listed as Meghan FromFest
My friend Mehmet Ali Sanlikol will be bringing his big band back to the stage at the New England Conservatory this Saturday, January 24th. Free show and I'll be playing baritone sax in the band. He's an extraordinary writer and if you don't know his music yet, you should check it out! #jazzsky
I grew blue corn last summer and have made my own masa - pickling lime can be found in the grocery stores which makes it so easy to do. After soaking overnight the corn blends easily.
I’m just about to start a rehearsal which keeps me from doomscrolling… got an oboe reed that works well for pit work finally at least
Sold out show about to hit with my Critical Role hoodie and Atari tshirt for 8-Bit Big Band
Parking in Boston all day is not any kind of reasonable thing, so I am schlepping my bari sax, bass clarinet, and backpack full of stands on the T so I can get to Berklee. But it’s all totally worth it because today is the 8-Bit Big Band performance (and band hang which is one of the highlights too)
