I just love hearing Jimmy’s Alpine Valley concerts. Every time it reminds me of how since I was a kid (like 9 years old) I’d beg my dad to take me to a concert not knowing what an event it is. Finally got to go together to see Jimmy on his last tour and I cherish that memory. Fins up 🦈

I saw a unicorn today! A Wisconsin sesquicentennial license plate. Don’t know how they haven’t been pulled over since these were stopped in ‘98 and supposed to be replaced for being hard to read. But nostalgic nonetheless! 🌲
Had to pull over for this magical sunset on my drive tonight. Sun slipped just below the hillside before I found a place to sit and appreciate it for a few minutes. And a live version of “Woman Goin Crazy on Caroline Street” played quietly. This is what Wisconsin summers are about.

Ooooof got a pizza cookbook from my MIL, and just had one of the most divine summer pies! Sweet Corn & Jalapeño Standard pep 24 hr mixed cold/counter ferment. Preheated pizza steel for 6 min, broil for 2. Ingredients in alt text 🫣🥵

It’s an unbelievably moving feeling to have lifetime friends. Where some people leave your life, some become constants. Some become family. Just helped set up the wedding for one of those friends. Two incredible people. Emotional, grateful, excited for tomorrow 🤍 🥂
