Big brudder Tasuketeeeeee!
I keep seeing people on twitter complaining about the "Xbox Tax" on middling reviews of the Halo remake. Halo is on Playstation now, you lost!
Really enjoyed this interview excerpt being released and people on twitter trying to rationalise it as him just being "aware" that Erogames exist.
The impression I get of Backloggd is that the tumblr kids who'd share this post and expect you to take it seriously have grown up and never quite left this mentality.
Resisting the urge to check what that mendrawingwomen subreddit thinks of the new GITS anime.
My mistake, was misremembering shit I heard from /v/ years ago. DMC2 wasn't the highest selling entry, but DMC3 sold less than it. DMC4 sold more but there's debate if Capcom considered it profitable given how much more expensive games were to make and its troubled development.
The fact that the game is playable is a testament to Itsunos skills as a director considering the absolute wreck he was tasked with salvaging. I really liked the more urban, business angle they took. But it's depressing knowing this was the highest selling DMC game until DMCV.
Do you think they added Phantom into DMC2 for fanservice for the first game, or because they were so pressed to get the game out of the door that they just used a boss from DMC1 because it was already designed?
Arius sitting on the table drinking wine during his boss fight is a small glimmer of soul, poor Itsuno really tried his best.
It's a real shame that the Infested Chopper and Tank are dogshit fights because they're cool as hell conceptually. If only Tank had functioning AI and that Chopper was actually fun to fight against.
Having to just level up your weapon instead of buying combos and new attacks has to be one of the worst lessons any developers have learned from the previous entries critics.
A friend of mine let me borrow this game as a kid and I thought it was so ass I gave it back to him the next day. I guess I may as well actually persevere through to the end.
Main critique of the new graphics is that they got rid of the blue tint of the underwater bits. It just doesn't seem right lol
I think overall (at least so far) the remaster graphics have been pretty all right, it's funny how less noticeable items are in them though.
You can tell the devs of the Tomb Raider Remastered collection realised that the modern analogue controls fuck over the games movement by removing the ability to backflip or sideflip so they just hid the option in the menu.
