I thought this tidbit from the CEO of constellation brands was interesting. public transport is good for consumer spending!

As it applies to Hispanic consumers, it was much of the same but more exacerbated. Markets that might be more sensitive to gas prices, like Texas and Florida, were places where we saw more pullback. A market like New York, for example, where people are able to access public transportation I would say is more positive.

I love the final sentence in Claire Bolton’s book, in which she states Johann Zainer is worth studying because he’s a sloppy bitch who half asses his professional work. He’s just like me fr. I also love how often she says “his brother Gunther, also a printer, never made this kind of mistake” lol

Zainer’s printing practices were similar to those of his contemporaries. The marks and mistakes shown in his editions can also be found in those of his contemporaries. However he showed them more regularly and more clearly than his fellow printers which made him an ideal subject for this study.

At work we are getting new housing for our fragments of the 42 and 36 line bibles, which means a move to flat storage. I made sure to carve out room for them near the 1462 Bible so that the band can all be reunited.
