Awwww Envigo beagles! I don’t know Eve’s background - she came from Virginia and may have been a stray. Ryder had a first family but sadly had to rehome so he’s with me. The handover was brutal - his first mom was sobbing.

Ryder is home! He has to go back to the vet daily through Monday for blood tests and will be on meds for a month. I need to watch him closely for a week, but otherwise he is okay! Rat poison is no joke, friends. If you must use it, put it in a container!!!!!

PSA: don’t fucking leave piles of rat poison out. My dog is now at the vet for the foreseeable future and hopefully doesn’t die!
