Protea and I'aljin may as well be brothers having been together since I'aljin was a boy. Fun fact: Protea has an extremely keen sense of direction to the point where, if he has been somewhere at least once, he can navigate back to it with no difficulty, like back to a camp after a long hunt.

Stormblood: 8- Enjoying time spent with the Gyr Abanians. Calm before the storm. 9- Zenos. The storm's name was Zenos. 10- Hurrah, the storm has passed, Zenos is dead, and both the Gyr Abanians and the far east is free from Garlean control! 11- Why are all of my friends dying?!

I was jokiiiiing! I haven't even played past the tutorial because it feels funky. And I'm learning as I type this that Originium still gives people magic bone cancer after centuries of research. Ahhhhhh.

It's concerning that the two adventurers received misfortune, but their significant others received small fortune, so maybe they'll balance out? We'll see.

He's not one to let it show, but there's a constant gnawing fear that he may turn into a Sin Eater at any point, endangering everyone around him.

I'aljin has recurring nightmares regarding his time in The First. He was never fully purged of all of the excess light aether in his body, and as a consequence he has been marked by the white streaks in his hair and the limiter ring he must wear at all times.
