I share learnings, tips and tricks, and achievements around running and building products solo. 👷♂️ Building productivity tools like whatpulse.org [Professional], MuteDeck.com, TypeTest.io, and more. Stroopwafels. 🧇
I swear to god this is the same reason we have to have "don't eat" on silicone packets
this is weird: Claude started responding in Dutch mid-conversation and I asked it why it did that.. it figured because of my name and because WhatPulse is a Dutch product (??), it would respond in dutch 🤷♂️
trying my hand at a real mobile app, cooking pretty nicely meeting controls for every app on your iPhone/Android? yes pls
interesting new type of phishing, pretending to have bought something damaged from your company and sending a "demo video" with proof which of course turns out to be malware
this is what happens when you aggressively give away usage resets to people like OpenAI is doing, you get an Antrophic-like status chart 😂
Handy is an open-source text to speech app that's really good, fast, supports multiple languages, and also pretty cute stop paying for WhisperFlow
I built this internal app to deploy my Laravel apps, but it's turning out the way I architected it makes it also suitable for other types of apps just added a NodeJS Discord bot, also deploys smoothly 😊
you can know create oauth apps on @whatpulse.org and create a "Login with WhatPulse" experience to have your users get their stats in your app! can't wait to see what you create with it 😊 up first will be the PulseView mobile app, which will be updated to use this soon
Claude Code tip: when you start in a git worktree, then want to test in your main repo, use `/cd` inside Claude to move the session from the worktree dir to the main dir. you keep context and avoid restarting or re-explaining the task.
software is great and all, but have you tried creating physical things?! 3d printing is such a goldmine of small hacks to make your life easier
I'm bad at graphics and staying consistent over time with things like featured images for blog posts so, I had claude build a micro tool in my dashboard that lets me create featured images easily, repeatable, and beautifully image comes from me, but I don't have to worry about a skill gap anymore
debugged why my Laravels storage/framework/views had 2 MILLION files. Livewire compiles string placeholders as Blade templates, and my loading skeleton used rand() for bar widths. Unique HTML every page view = 2 new cache files, forever. fix: return a View from placeholder(), not a string.
does this mean I made it? someone is using the MuteDeck name to try and infect people with malware 🙄 I had a look around in the app they try to get you to download and it's surface looks like MuteDeck, but it's non-functional and has a crypto miner underneath
I'm moving away from the nightmare of nested tables for my responsive email templates and looking into MJML and Maizzle asked Claude to prototype them, and it decided to build it entirely outside of the codebase and present it as an artifact with rendered examples, ...
can you tell when I got access to Fable and started some long running tasks on my desktop? 😉
projects got fed up with Github outages projects moved to Codeberg Codeberg has a 7 hour outage because they host everything on 3 servers in 1 location 🫠
asked Fable to give me a intro/hype video animation for when I enter my Marketing OS app result is 🧑🍳 👌
look, I get the psychology behind this, Outrank, but a 51% exit discount is really just a slap in the face of "hah, sucker, made you pay twice as much before!!11"
I want to know who at archive dot org labeled a Windows screenshot as "inappropriate or offensive" and give them the daily perfection award
if you use a CMS and haven't heared of Instatic - 💯 check it out! self-hosted replacement for Webflow, Wordpress, etc. github.com/corebunch/in...
Mechanic trying to do a pit stop during the GT 24hrs of Spa has me 😂 “I’m going to make this stop so quick, trained for this Wait, what the fuck Oh never mind, next tire”
