My tattoo of @alwayscoffee.bsky.social’s #tinypoem from 2019 is all healed up and looking amazing. Every one of my tattoos has a personal meaning to me, and this one is the most powerful. I have words that speak into being a version of myself as seen by another. It’s a powerful totem.
I got the tattoo I have been wanting to get for ages. The brilliant @alwayscoffee.bsky.social wrote a #tinypoem for me on Twitter in 2019. It made me feel seen and understood. Now it lives on my left forearm. Thank you Ali (poem) and Jericho Sepulveda (EmptyCoffins Tattoo in Las Vegas).
I laid down to rest my back/legs and now I am trapped by a sleeping house-panther.
Is this Monty after a binge of the ol’ ‘nip? This is my Daemir. More than a little ‘nip was enjoyed about 30 minutes prior to this photo.
Here’s Daemir, tripping hard on the ‘nip, sniffing at delivered food. Taken yesterday morning.
I love Uncle Deadly and I would take him on field trips to the Hollywood Wax Museum.
My house panther is the other side of the spectrum. She demands I come nap, and actively disrupts things if I am not napping on schedule.
Daemir hassled me for 30 minutes non-stop to go lay down so she could do whatever this is.
Post a perfect album from the 90s that isn't nirvana, soundgarden, pearl jam, or alice in chains. Harder Mode: no Tool albums. I played this album on repeat for so long my fiancé threatened to leave me, or at the very least destroy the physical media. It’s still in heavy rotation.
My cat, Daemir, also likes to try to lift my spirits when I am feeling down or ill. She defends me from every other human on the planet, but she means well.
