Hand stitched sketch book-cover and some animal sketches. The coloured drawing was a water colour test for some Canadian-made Beam paints (blue and gold)-I turned into a cover.

I’ve been wanting to try my hand at ‘photobashing’ or ‘photokitting’ to create horror images for ages. I was inspired recently by Trevor Henderson to give it a go. The Doorman.

Terrible comics day. A story about being a Skater Girl* in 2009.

“When I was a skater girl guys never let chicks near the skate park. This was in 2009.”

“They’d shout slurs. Throw shit. Stalk you. So I learned to skate on roads.”

“It wasn’t just me. All girls copped it.”
Two characters talk to one another. One looks scared and ask:
“Did he just say he’d —— us?”
The first character says cockily.
“Have to catch us first”
“Most of my friends quit. But I refused. I got really good. I’m a trans dude now but I’ll never forget being a skater girl.”

Like a candle in the dark… (Where do demons go to die?) A concept drawing of Nox, the eternally burning demon, in the realm of Nothing, belonging to @theazrai.com from our story; Marrow.

A demon shaped like a man with short white hair, Nox, levitates in a pitch black abyss. He has a glowing, lightening like scar on his brow and at his wrists. His wrists are cuffed by disintegrating. He is covered in blue flames that look like candle light. There is a blue falling star/lens flare by his head. Nox appears to be tranquil but suspended in a magical state.

Isca from ye ol' 'Curse of Maraqua'. A mermaids & pirates Neopets webcomic from the 2000's. AKA a comic that Started It All for me as an artist. I am brand new at Moho and this is my first attempt at a coloured animation in it! I might add some bubbles later...

The other artwork in this screenie is a fanart I drew sometime around 2018-2019? I believe I submitted it to the Neopets art gallery and got in.

Where all the Neopets adults at? Drawing the little mermaid that started the Pirate Fixation in me (hoping to animate her in Moho). 'The Curse of Maraqua' (which was a comics plot about pirate and mermaids) did critical work inspiring me to draw as a kid so I have a big soft spot for it.

Went into a fugue state listening to music and sketched like 6 pages of a Marrow comic in straight biro in an afternoon. Really loved how ( @theazrai.com 's) Nox's face came out in these panels. #Marrow #Starwhispers

Before Nox was the demon with the heart of Gold he was… Well. A demon without a heart of gold and a blacksmith cover. A colouring book concept page for the queer, dark urban, romantasy story ‘MARROW’ I’m writing with @theazrai.com (think: angels, demons, and witches, oh my).

‘In hell there is dark so deep no light but that of a human soul can pierce it…’ Another concept for me and @theazrai.com’s queer, urban romantasy book: MARROW.

The main light (the soul candle) is loosely based off a human heart. This spell allows his spirit to act as a light in the dark for as long as he can keep it lit.
At his chest the hands of the damned in the void of Hell are grabbing at him and the light and nearly pulling him under.

Druid girl, almost finished. I gave her very glowy highlight on her face & body, because I think it looks beautiful on darker skin tones. I imagine her jewellery is porcelain or varnished & when she walks it chimes like bells.

I’ve been indulging my teenage self and created a Retired Magical Girl who is now a Magical Woman (and master of the universe powers-wise). She has a cast of cute (concerned) magical friends & a bucket list of villains she beat in the past who she is Out To Kiss (AKA:in her enemies to lovers era).
