Wolfy update 🤍 This is the best weather weekend we’ve had in weeks and weeks.
The elusive summer morning when we get a break from the heat, the smoke, the bugs, the job, the commitments…all of it. Happy campers over here.
Another weekend in the A/C means new toys to keep us [them] entertained.
A little sunrise adventuring today, before the heat cranked up again. We’re deep in our annual survival/seasonal depression era. Just hanging on now until fall!
And here it is, your long weekend sled blob moment of zen. (Video was shot last weekend)
Can confirm, puppies are indeed excellent. We had two June trips up to play with the fresh ones at sled dog camp! These six are named after SNL characters 🤍
Re: Honest Dog: We’ve been there, twice! Here is @eekappy.bsky.social making her selections back in ‘21. Wylie thinks bookstores are boring, but less boring than phones because books only take one hand so other hand is available for pets. He prefers the shop to the Madeline Island Ferry.
Best summit group selfie in a WHILE. This morning, a moody rainy hike up Little Deer Mountain, Groton, VT 🤍

Life and work have been a little bit hectic lately, but we snuck north for a half-day hike Saturday! 9.5 miles on an out-and-back with ~4,200 ft of gain. This hike got 2 of the 5 peaks that we set as our spring goal 🤍 #dogsthathike #typetwofunclub
Pretty glad we didnt try to hike for miles and climb exposed peaks in this!! This is why we always watch the forecasts closely before we head out even for a day trip.
We did have a very nice lazy woodswalk this morning, despite the drizzle!
Peak weekend day. Hoping you find “Wylie snoozing with his lemon” levels of relaxation this weekend.
The dogs and I ended our season the same place we started it—Prospect Farm trails at Jackson. Our first run back in mid-November was, and feels like, a long time ago. Saturday was good reminder that skiing is fun, even moreso when chasing dog butts. #retiredsleddog #WylieandWolfy #TypeTwoFunClub
Chasing some final ski miles for the season this morning. #retiredsleddog #typetwofunclub
My story from #ITIalaska this year didn’t capture 1/100 of the drama, the difficulty, the adventure, the community. Athlete-led rescues. A 5-day campout with a cooler of bacon. A team of 4 winners who were the only official 1000finishers. Then, for the people’s [unofficial] champion, there was this🤍
