AmoreCheckout makes it easy possible to implement in-app purchases into Mac apps that are distributed outside the Mac App Store. Learn More: docs.amore.computer/documentatio...
In addition to distributing #Kompressor my image converter app, via the App Store I now distribute it directly via Amore as well. It's currently 50% off as part of #IndieAppSales. You can use the promo code INDIEAPPSALES2026. kompressor.app
In celebration of #IndieAppSales I added the ability to enter promo codes to Amore's checkout experience. If you use AmoreLicensing in your app, you can use this to offer discounts and promos for your apps.
It's done! A tiny 3D object renderer for the @play.date written in @swift.org. Inspired by @tsoding.bsky.social's amazing 3D graphics video. ❤️
It's day 32 of my 1 video per day for a 100 days video experiment today. I added a video gallery of all the videos I recorded so far to my website.
Added this about view to Alam to explain where its name is coming from. It‘s a slow project because I currently don‘t have a lot of time but it‘s slowly coming together.
I really like the docs that Swift DocC creates for AmoreKit. Every library is visible here, and it's easy to click around and explore the SDK. Should probably add some custom preview images here. docs.amore.computer/documentation
Quick update on Alam. Created an app icon using Icon Composer and pushed it to TestFlight.
Here is a quick demo of Alam. Alarm sounds are slowly fading in to not startle you in the morning.
I started to work on this new alarm app called Alam yesterday. It wakes you up with a bunch of soft nature sounds and bird songs instead of irritating noise.
Today is about Loupe by @mysk.bsky.social and a surprising fingerprinting identifier that's used against you.
I got asked how my face is hovering inside the screen recording. I built this little app to help me.
Today is about Macrowave.co, an app that I have been working on with my friend @necmttn.com last year. Makes it super easy to create your own radio station to share it with your friends.
There are good reasons to publish Mac apps outside of the App Store. iA lists some reasons in their recent blog post. - In-app purchases don’t work for institutional purchases - Educational discounts - Some companies disable access to the App Store - Custom payment system integration (e.g Amore)
