Comic commission for @windscenelover.bsky.social, featuring Isabelle from Animal Crossing!
Some thoughts on the latest page of Max Comix posted on Instagram (www.instagram.com/max_comix). Since it's a webcomic originally written in Spanish, there could be some differences with the intended pronunciation of some names. You do whatever you want, of course.
35) Asterix (NES, 1993) A pretty nice, pretty fun platformer. 🟢 Functional, fun. Good music. 🔴 Nothing mindblowing.
34) Fighting Force (PS1, 1997) A pretty straightforward Beat'Em Up, but good at what it's trying to do. 🟢 Pretty fun, challenging at times without feeling unfair. 🔴 There are moments where enemies just keep coming without any kind of variety.
Also here's a reminder of my prices. For comics, it's an approximate. Detailed backgrounds, heavily detailed characters, multiple characters, all that can and will raise the prices, even over the "limits" established here.
Here's an example of what I can work with. The numbered panels are not necessary but they do help a lot. I need at least the events of the story in chronological order. After this, I'd need the references for characters, specific outfits if needed, and specific locations if relevant for the story.
Btw I almost forgot: This amazing piece was made by @virtualdude.bsky.social 💖
I just HAD to do the bra strap meme with Vale. It's just right. #MaxComix

33) Crash Team Racing (PS1, 1999) [101%, All Platinum Relics] This game hasn't aged a single day. Now... Should I beat Oxide's ghosts again? 🟢 Still an absolute blast to play, it still looks gorgeous, the music is still awesome. 🔴 I don't have any complaints about this game.

Things that make me glad I haven't deleted my Twitter yet, part 2 (Toys For Bob is the studio behind Crash Bandicoot 4, Spyro Reignited and now A Realm Beyond)
Things that make me glad I haven't deleted my Twitter yet (although I have it abandoned except for these specific situations) (Charles Zembillas is the original designer for Crash Bandicoot and Spyro back in their debut games)
Welcome back, Spyro! Looking good 🔥 #Spyro #SpyroTheDragon #SpyroARealmBeyond
I'm noticing the chest being bigger and a strand of hair from his mohawk pointing forward... Nicholas Kole's Adult Spyro concept gets closer and closer to canon each day. I like it.
Star Fox X Invincible commission for @zoojames512.bsky.social! #StarFox #Invincible
A little unprofessional, but... One in ten customers makes me feel truly lucky to have the other nine. Just wanted to say that.
Page 23: Better page composition. Better distribution of the general detail.
Page 22: Adjusted panel 1 after the last panel in the previous page. Matrix punched Max in the stomach, he should be recovering from that.
Page 21: Show, don't tell. Made the scene funnier and visually interesting by actually showing the moment Matrix discovered his powers. This was originally planned as an Extra, until I realized I could put it inside the actual chapter and stop complaining about the lack of "juice".
Page 16: Better pacing for the Fire Gun reveal. Page doesn't feel so empty now.
Okay, so, this is part of my backlog (I have 250 games on it). Some are replays of stuff I haven't touched in years, some are stuff I never played and looked interesting enough. So, from this list, which one would you recommend I try first? The ones in dark yellow are the ones I already started.
32) Aconcagua (PS1, 2000) A PS1 game that takes place in Argentina? Count me in! 🟢 The game is pretty straightforward, the story and characters are pretty nice. 🔴 Gameplay gets a bit slow and tiresome at times. Each character has one skill, but you still need to manually activate the item for it.
