Although you are correct, Alan, that these MPS founders saw themselves as the beneficiary of empires within & without of Europe. Slobodian argues they were more stressed by end of empires’ impacts on multinational interests than by threat of communism (which, of course, merged leading to this 📕 )?
When Victoria had high COVID rates most of the aged care deaths were in private facilities. Something like 3 deaths total in public care. During omicron, 17 per day in private. The private sector farms our elderly for profit.
